Sealed tenders are invited from the interested firms/ companies registered in Chamber of Commerce, Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments in accordance with the SPPRA rules for approvedresearch projects (HEC) for the purchase of Equipment on C&F basis and on Single Stage-One Envelope procedure basis for the Centre. The tender documents can be obtained from the office of the under signed on the payment of Rs. 2000/= (Non-Refundable), in shape of Pay Order/ Demand Draftin Favor of Principal Investigator, NCEACfor each tender. OR Documents can be download from www.ceacsu.edu.pk, www.pprasindh.gov.pk from the date of Publication of this advertisement in the Newspapers or Notification of this advertisement on the Website. The last date of issuing the Tender Documents is 15th Feb 2018.up to 01: 00 p.m.which will be opened on the same day at 03: 00 p.m.

The Tender Can be submitted with 2% of the Bid Value as Earnest Money in shape of Pay order in favor of Principal Investigator, NCEAC, The Tender will be opened in Committee Room of the Centre in presence of the Bidders or their representatives. Alternate Bids/ Options should accompany separate Earnest Money Pay Order along with Bidding Documents. The procuring Agency may reject all or any Bid subject to the relevant provision of SPP Rule No.25

Terms & Conditions:

  1. The bit documents will be submitted in single stage one envelopes.

  2. The quoted price should be FOR & C&F.

  3. The tender documents can be obtained from the office of the under signed on the payment of non-refundable amount of Rs. 2000/= (Rupees Two Thousand only) for each tender.

  4. The prices quoted shall be valid for a period of at least 90 days from the date of opening of the tender.

  5. All sealed tenders shall be opened in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who wish to be present.

  6. Earnest money @ 2% of the Tender Cost.

  7. All applicable Government Taxes will be deducted from the bill as per Government approved rates.

  8. Quantity of any items can be increase/ decrease at any time.

  9. The supplier will have to produce evidence as regards their registration with FBR for income tax, sales tax and SBR for sales tax for services and works.

  10. The tender documents will be received upto 15th Feb 2018 @ 1:00 p.m. and will be opened on the same day @ 3:00 p.m. in the NCEAC, committee room..

  11. The tenderer must indicate in his/her offer the port from where the Equipment will be shipped.

  12. The term period of guarantee shall mean the period of Thirty-Six (36) months from the date on which the Equipment have been put into operation and demonstrated to Centre staff.

  13. During the period of guarantee, the Supplier / Contractor shall remedy, at his / her expense, all defects in design, materials, and workmanship that may develop or are revealed under normal use of the said Equipment upon receiving written notice
    from the University; the notice shall indicate in what respect the Equipment are faulty .

  14. The successful bidder shall have to give a Performance Security (Bond) as per SPPRA Rule (39(1)). to this Tender Document, to the extent of 2% of the total value of the contract on the same conditions as the Bid Bond. The Performance Security
    (Bond) shall be retained by the Principal Investigator, NCEAC, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, till the completion of the guarantee period.

  15. The provisions of this Clause include all the expenses that the Supplier / Contractor may have to incur for delivery and installation of such replacement parts, material,and equipment as are needed for satisfactory operation of the Equipment at the
    University premises.

  16. Incomplete or conditional tender will not be accepted.

  17. The lowest bidder will have to provide warranty/ guarantee against the supply.

  18. The tenders opening committee reserves the rights to accept or reject tender without assigning any reason provision of SPPRA rules.
